2. Eligibility for Refunds

2.1 Service Not Rendered

Refunds may be issued if:

  • A project is cancelled before any significant work has been completed by the freelancer.
  • The freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon work within the specified timeframe, and the employer chooses to cancel the project.

2.2 Dispute Resolution

If there is a dispute between the employer and the freelancer regarding the quality or completion of the work, we encourage both parties to attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may submit a dispute to our support team for review. Refunds may be issued based on the outcome of the dispute resolution process.

2.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • The project has been completed and approved by the employer.
  • The freelancer has started working on the project, and the employer cancels without a valid reason.
  • Any payment made for services rendered that meet the agreed-upon criteria.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Employer Cancellations

Employers may cancel a project under the following conditions:

  • Before the freelancer has begun work, the employer can cancel the project without incurring any charges.
  • If work has begun, the employer may cancel, but may be liable for a portion of the payment to cover the work already completed.

3.2 Freelancer Cancellations

Freelancers may cancel their engagement on a project if:

  • The employer fails to provide the necessary information or resources to begin or complete the work.
  • There are unforeseen circumstances that prevent the freelancer from fulfilling the project requirements. In such cases, the freelancer should notify the employer as soon as possible and issue a partial or full refund, depending on the situation.

3.3 Platform Cancellations

Professional Bidders reserves the right to cancel any project or transaction under the following conditions:

  • Fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform is detected.
  • Violation of our terms of service or any applicable laws.
  • Any other situation where cancellation is deemed necessary to protect the interests of our users or the platform.

4. Process for Requesting a Refund or Cancellation

4.1 Submitting a Request

4.2 Review Process

Our team will review the request and may reach out for additional information. We aim to resolve all refund and cancellation requests ASAP, but more complex cases may take longer.

4.3 Resolution

Once a decision is made, we will notify both parties of the outcome. If a refund is approved, the amount will be credited to the original payment method.

5. No Guarantee of Refund

While we strive to resolve all issues fairly, submission of a refund or cancellation request does not guarantee that a refund will be issued. Each case is evaluated on its own merits, and decisions are made based on the specific circumstances involved.
